Official report of Colonel John G. Mitchell, commander of the 113th Ohio Volunteer Infantry and acting commander of the 2nd Brigade, 1st Division, Reserve Corps, following the battle of Chickamauga, along with the September 1863 return for the 1st Division and casualty return for the 2nd Brigade. John G. Michell also reports as Brigadier General commanding the 2nd Brigade, 2nd Division, 14th Army Corps on the campaign between Savannah, Ga. and Goldsboro, N.C., Jan. 20-March 30, 1865.
